CUIR DE CORSICA
1 DRAM BOTTLE / 1/8 Fluid OZ Glass bottle with black polycone screw top lid.
Leather perfumes were created to scent leather to hide the animalic scent of leather itself. The scenting of leather dates back to around 2000 B.C.. Most leather perfumes are
recognizable in that they more often than less employ cade wood or birch tar notes. Ours is a clean yet boozy scent with saffron, sandalwood, tonka bean and castoreum along with the leathery cade and suede bottom notes. Cuir de Corsica is aptly named as the thyme used in this leather fragrance is Corsican and the blend is rooted in the fact that the Corsican people have always held strong beliefs in the supernatural and magic, which predate the modern Catholic religion by a long way.
+ A leather fragrance consisting of Corsican thyme, sandalwood, castoreum, saffron and cade notes.
+ Can be used sparingly in the scenting of leather objects (i.e. gloves, jackets, belts or furniture)
+ A fragrance, because of its animalic characteristics, can be used also in communing with animal spirits and totems
